She has used this model to grow her photography from a hobby to part time business to most recently to full time entrepreneurship. Danielle Calhoun, wedding photography turned humanitarian, speaker and socially conscious wedding blogger, founded Black Sheep Bride in 2014. After traveling to several developing countries to photograph non-profits, orphanages, and social impact projects, she often came home conflicted about the wedding industry she was supported by. Black Sheep Bride was born to highlight the amazing people in the wedding world that use their love to serve others and the environment. With roughly 1.2 million socially conscious couples within the big pool of Millennials getting engaged, Black Sheep Bride couldn’t have been launched at a more opportune time. In 2 years, they have gained nearly 200 vendors across the nation pledging to give 10% back with their businesses, including many influential social enterprise brands, and have over 13,000+ followers on Instagram.

Since 2011, Randi Smith of Sugar Euphoria has had the pleasure of taking people to their happy place with her desserts.  She loves creating different combinations of unorthodox flavors, tweaking of old family recipes, and designing elaborate cakes and dessert bars. She started Sugar Euphoria by specializing in gourmet cupcakes, and now the menu includes everything from traditional treats, to desserts inspired by the fruits and flavors of her homeland. Born and raised in The Bahamas, she now live in a Raleigh, NC with her husband, Jeffery and their brand new baby. Oh, and she’s a Tar Heel through and through. Randi absolutely adores being a part of a wedding – she gets such joy knowing that her cakes and creations help sweet couples celebrate a life-long commitment to each other.

Keneshia also known as Kay a Southern California native & A Bay Area transplant and the Founder of Enchanted : The Wedding Event and the Founder &  Editor in Chief of Blissful 2 Be a Wedding Magazine. A weddings & event designer and formerly the VP of Biz Wed for WedTech Summit, A wedding and technology conference were the wedding and technology communities come together to educate each other about the wedding space and how we can grow together.With a strong background in planning and design she works to collaborate, and celebrate vendors . Kay is a speaker & educator and works with vendors, on how to grow and succeed in the wedding business and stay authentic during the process.

Calligraphy Workshop ~ Catrina Ballard

Catrina Ballard and is the hands and heart behind Camel & Birdie Calligraphy & Hand Lettering. She has spent her whole life unofficially “doodling”, (hello Crayola markers!) and discovered a new passion in calligraphy after her son was born. You can find her work featured in several online wedding publications including Aisle Perfect, 100 Layer Cakelet, Dear Gray Magazine, Glamour and Grace blog and many more. 

Catrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Education in Community Counseling. She has always been driven by learning what makes people tick. Her passion is to use her calligraphy and hand-lettering work to help men and women find their true worth. She wants everyone she comes in contact with to know that they are significant because who they were made to be is not a mistake. She firmly believes that your story matters and that every day milestones should always be celebrated.

Catrina is a humble daughter of the King and lives in Texas with her husband Jason and their son, Carson. Her weaknesses include sports, a good joke, champagne cocktails and the color black.

A.C.E. is a two day, hands-on creative workshop that will help to inspire you and grow your business.  A.C.E. stands for Aspire, Create, and Envision.
